Shan Neuman

4th Grade

Shan Neuman brings over 15 years of teaching experience to Our Lady of Loreto as a 4th grade teacher. Many families may already know her as Allen, Thomas, and Parson's mom. Their family joined the OLOL community in 2019 and has loved being part of this wonderful school family ever since. She is excited and honored to be joining the OLOL family and cannot wait to share her passion for education with the students and families at OLOL. She was born and raised in China and originally studied Business in college. After moving to the United States, she discovered her passion for education and earned her master’s degree in Elementary Education from the University of Northern Colorado. She has taught in public, charter and bilingual schools. She believes children learn best through hands-on experiences, collaboration, exploration, and meaningful engagement. Her goal is to create a classroom where students feel loved, supported, challenged, and inspired to become the best version of themselves.

She believes that every child is a unique gift from God with special talents and unlimited potential. She looks forward to nurturing not only her students' academic growth but also their character, faith, kindness, and love for others.
