Our Lady of Loreto Catholic School

4th Grade

Kathy Luch is joining Our Lady of Loreto as a 4th grade teacher. She earned a bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from San Diego State University and later completed a master’s degree in Theology from Reformed Theological Seminary. Her professional journey has taken her from spending many years in Mexico City working with nonprofit organizations to teaching in a variety of classroom settings. Before coming here, she taught middle school at Ambleside Ocala. She also served at Ambleside Colorado, where she taught fifth grade, K–12 Spanish, and fifth and sixth grade science. These experiences have given her a deep appreciation for nurturing both the academic and personal growth of each student.

Outside the classroom, she enjoys running, hiking, reading and studying the Bible, traveling to new countries to learn about different people and cultures, and continuing to grow in her Spanish language skills.
