Makayla Schmitt-Jacobs serves as the licensed Registered Nurse at Our Lady of Loreto Catholic School. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Cell Biology from Saint Mary's College, A Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Purdue University, and a Master of Science in Global Health from the University of Notre Dame. She has 4 years bedside nursing experience, including in Emergency Medicine. Makayla is passionate about partnering with students and their parents to have a safe and healthy school year. Outside of school, she enjoys hiking, reading, bouldering, and spending time with her husband and dog.
