Marla Giardino

Reading Specialist

Marla Giardino has been teaching for 17 years in both public and private schools. She earned her teaching degree from the University of Northern Colorado and is excited to be the new reading support teacher at OLOL. Marla attended a Catholic elementary school in northern New Mexico, and she has fond memories of walking down the street to the church each week for mass. She has four children who range in age from 24-14 with her husband, Adam. In her spare time, she loves to read, travel to new places, and go hiking in the mountains. Marla enjoys developing a love of learning with her students and helping kids in all grade levels.
