Carrie Maxwell

5th Grade

Mrs. Maxwell is from Buffalo, NY where she attended Catholic schools from Kindergarten through high school. After college, she joined Jesuit Volunteer Corps Northwest, which assigned her to the Crow Reservation in Montana. There, she taught second grade to Native American students, and completed an M.Ed. in Curriculum & Instruction. She has been teaching in the Archdiocese of Denver since 2014, and she loves teaching fifth grade at Our Lady of Loreto Catholic School! She feels strongly about the value of Catholic education, especially for elementary school students. Outside of the classroom, Mrs. Maxwell’s favorite activities are biking with her husband and son, listening to country music and taking her 2 rescue dogs on hikes.
