Caitlynn East

5th Grade

Caitlynn East was born in Atlanta, Georgia and moved to Colorado just prior to entering 5th grade. She attended Aquinas College in Nashville, Tennessee and studied Elementary Education and Theology and Philosophy. She finished her education degree at the University of Northern Colorado while working as a kindergarten aide at Our Lady of Loreto. She completed her studies in December of 2019 and began teaching 5th grade the following spring. She loves how formative 5th grade is and the bridge between elementary and middle school. Being able to teach and delve more deeply into the Faith and discovering the joys of academics with her students is one of her favorite things. She loves dogs and elephants, and in her spare time she loves to cook new recipes, go to coffee with friends, read, and play card games.
