Kate Hatch

Assistant Principal

Hello, my name is Kate Hatch, I am originally from Colorado and I have had the privilege of teaching in Catholic schools my entire 13-year teaching career. I find working in education is a calling, my mission, and passion. I believe that every child has the chance to shine in their strengths and succeed in dealing with their weaknesses. I work hard to set high standards and expectation, help others set attainable goals, and share with everyone the importance of lifelong learning and wonderment.

I graduated from the University of South Dakota in 2005 with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Chemistry. I decided to continue my education and graduated again in 2006 from the University of South Dakota with my Bachelor of Education in 5-12 Education with an emphasis in Science and Math. In March of 2014, I earned my Master of Science in Education with an emphasis in Differentiation, Curriculum Development, Evaluation and Teacher Coaching. Prior to working at Our Lady of Loreto I taught one year at Prince of Peace in Milwaukee, WI, I taught 10 years at St. Stephens Catholic School in Glenwood Springs, CO, and taught one year in Denver, CO at St. Rose of Lima.

Besides teaching I love spending time with my husband, twin daughters, I enjoy taking my girls on amazing new adventures to see their excitement and exploration. I love reading books, running, working out, flying with my husband and exploring all the wonderful opportunities and gifts God has blessed us with.
